Regardless of the above experience, in lue of our dryer breaking, my wife & I decided an easy solution was to lease a new set (washer/dryer) through Aaron's. Don't ask me why we thought it would be different this go-round. The delivery crew showed up on the scheduled date and time to install our new washer/dryer. After completion, one of the crew members approached me to let me know "he couldn't quite get the dryer vent to hook up so he kind of just left it up against the vent. It should hold for a little while, but you'll probably have to fix it." And on their way they went.
In the following few days, the TV we purchased began to turn itself off periodically. After addressing all possible solutions through the TV settings, I gave Aaron's a call on a Wednesday afternoon. "No problem, we can be out there Friday between 3 PM - 5 PM." Great, seems like they're going to get it taken care of, right? Wrong. Not only did they not show up, they did not bother to call and let my wife or I know that they wouldn't make it. The following Thursday, they showed up unannounced to take our TV and replace it with an "equal" temporarily. No big deal, right? Wrong again. They didn't bother helping us set up any of our equipment to the temporary TV.
I will never do any sort of business with Aarons again, nor would I recommend their business to anyone else. I have had an awful experience, from simple customer service to the quality of the products they provide.
Yesterday, they returned with the TV I had previously had them pick up for repairs. During the set-up, one of the installers turned and asked me for the remote, to which I informed him that the last Aaron's personnel had taken the remote when they picked up the TV for repairs. He proceeded to argue with me very rudely, telling me that they wouldn't take the remote because "they probably wouldn't remember to return it." And again, off they went.
Yesterday afternoon we came home from grocery shopping to find our refrigerator pooped out. At 10 minutes til closing I called Michelle and asked if we could get a new refrigerator as soon as possible, the next day. Aaron's didn't open until 10, but she called us a little after 9, made a payment and they delivered the new refrigerator by 9:30.
Our experience in the store was pleasant. The manager we worked with, after discovering we had some common grounds, was excellent.
Being a Aaron's customer already and pleased, Michelle went above and beyond to make sure we got our refrigerator.
We are truly greatful for her friendly and speedy service. ❤❤❤
easy rental, Update new Manager Tiffany has serious issues with empathy. Been with them for a while, when Paul was manager, she need to learn when and what to say. My mother is ill and I have to go home to Germany for an emergency, and she was worried about how that inconvenienced her. Well unfortunately I cannot make an emergency more convenient for her at this time. I was upset and yes this time I shared my feelings because she really needs to learn of she wants to become a great Manager. I have been paying alot of money to that store. Damn people.
Today, after merely a week of owning the dryer they installed, when drying a load of clothes it squeaks so load that it can be heard outside of my house.
That was the only thing pleasant about our entire experience.
Upon delivery of the living room set & entertainment center we purchased, we discovered that one of the lamps was missing a mirror piece and the couch had minor scraps and the seams were beginning to pull apart. We were promised a phone call to address both issues and never received one.
No one had approached me in the store until I had waited at the counter for 10 minutes while one lady helped someone & 2 others sat in the office not paying attention. Once I received service it started off mediocre, the lady went from being rude & short to somewhat decent. I wasn't going to write a review until I received a call from a Stephanie, she was very rude on the phone. They had 3 phone numbers wrong because they couldn't read my handwriting and instead of asking me she accused me of giving them false information. I have never been treated so badly anywhere in Belton, I will not recommend Aaron's in Belton due to their horrible customer service.
