I seem someone getting s brisket topped baked potato and that thing looked like a football. Well worth the ride.
They have the greatest wait staff. It doesn't hurt that they also have the greatest bar-b-que. Hamburgers are also good. You can't go wrong. Not much parking on Fri and Sat night's, but there's always a picnic table to slide into. Party barn opening soon
I drove 150 miles for some chicken fried steak. I was not disappointed. Big steak home made gravy was out of this world. Home made onion rings were top notch.
Nice new place in our neighborhood. Food selection is okay. Their bar is very good. Drinks are great. Bar staff always friendly and prompt. The place is decorated very cutely. Definitely worth a trip out to visit them.
This is the first time I've eaten here, and I was not disappointed. Ordered the "Big Hoss" burrito, and it was delicious! Stuffed full of brisket, beans, and cheese and then fried to golden perfection, yum! The banana pudding was the best pudding I've ever had. It's only served on the weekends though. Service was fast and friendly. I wish I could have tried their Sangria Margarita, but I had to work later. My only regret is not knowing about this place sooner. I work in hospitality, and people ask me all the time where the best place to eat is in town; I will definitely recommend Backyard BBQ!
** Update ** going back tomorrow....... 150 miles and will love the ride down and back and enjoy my lunch.
Local to Morgan's Point. Frozen Margaritas are quite good. BBQ, chicken fried steak, chicken sandwiches, and burgers, are the standard fare and pretty good. Banana pudding can inspire a meltdown if there is not enough to go around. Tasty.
