Love this place! It has become the biggest hot spot in town and I go there around once a week. If you are looking for he true millers package, I would recommend the bigun’.
Drove up with a friend from Austin as we had Miller's Smokehouse on our bucket list. As far as awesome BBQ experiences goes, none could ever top our visit to Miller's. We arrived just after the lunch rush and had no problem getting seated and served. We dined on jalapeno/cheese sausage, baby back ribs, brisket and the fixings. Very good sides and as are their desserts. They're all homemade by the proprietor's wife. All of it was very tasty and I'm not going to compare it to the other reputable BBQ joints I've eaten at in central Texas. For us, the best part of the whole experience was meeting the proprietor, Dirk Miller, his wife, Lisa and several of his staff. They engaged us from the moment we walked in and Dirk sat talking with us while we chowed down for 40 minutes. Told us his story and we couldn't get enough. We were even visited by Dirk's general manager, Amadeo, who sat with us for 20 minutes talking BBQ. He told us how much they appreciated customers like us and how BBQ was 'family'. Man, so flattering and unexpected. Highly recommend Miller's for a great BBQ experience!
It is a loaded sandwich packed with brisket, pulled pork, sausage, and slaw! Would recommend millers first to anyone!
Let's start off by saying the Millers surely know how to cook everything good! Now that we got that out of the way let's move on. I've been waiting to go back and take a few pictures of this place and write a review, along with pigging out on everything. The BBQ is ridiculously good and so is every side dish and desert, seriously!!!! I love this place and how they have completely went with a new modern look for their new location. They are certainly paving their way into BBQ history! I highly recommend giving this place a try. I always go with the moist brisket and spicy sausage with coleslaw and some of their fancy sodas they have. It's a little pricey but so is everything else in life that is top notch. Basically Millers BBQ is like the Rolls Royce of the BBQ industry!
I will definitely be back here. The staff were great and welcoming. The BBQ, sides, beer, and desserts were all as wonderful as I hoped they would be. We had sliced brisket (it was perfection), ribs, sausage, buttered potatoes, Mac n cheese, pecan coconut pie (I'll be dreaming of this for a while), and sopapila cheesecake.
Absolute favorite bbq location in this area, beats out the other locations purely on quality and flavor of the food. The staff on multiple visits has been very friendly and accommodating. I have recommended this place to friends and family, I took my siblings here and they loved it.
